Luncheon Held in Honor of Nancy's Birthday
A casual get-together luncheon in honor of Nancy Marker's birthday, which would have been May 19, 2009, took place on Friday May 22, 2009. Nancy had said that she hoped she could live to celebrate her 61st birthday with a lot of friends. Sadly she missed that date but was certainly there in spirit as we celebrated for her.
A group of fourteen FHS friends gathered together at Mimi's Cafe at the Greene on Indian Ripple Road in Kettering near 675. It was a happy celebration which included great friendship, cake, flowers, big muffins and a very large box of Ester Price chocolates. These were some of Nan's favorite things, especially the friends. Thanks to all who attended. We hope to have a luncheon every year around May 19th in memory of Nan. Please keep that time of May in mind for next year!
